Focusing

Capture Decisive Moment Every Time with the New AF

The Fujifilm X-T2 has an improved AF-C algorithm that boosts its ability to track moving objects accurately. You can fine tune how the camera reacts to subjects’ movement within the frame, how fast they move and which part in the frame the camera should focus. The five presets in the AF- Custom Settings are a combination of three factors.

Tracking Sensitivity

Specify whether the camera’s focus should switch to a different subject or retain it until the subject reappears.

Speed Tracking Sensitivity

Set the camera’s tracking behavior based on the changes of the subject’s speed.

Zone Area Switching

Choose which part of the selected focusing zone should be given focusing priority.
